ipod music transfer
4 Answers
Hi I have a PC rather then a mac. In the past on other mp3 players I simply pull across the files I want onto the removable disk drive and then can see what I want to delete and keep. However, when I move files into itunes to add to ipod it deletes an I have removed form that playlist and therefore have just the new ones. Is there a way on a PC that I can simple add new tunes to my ipod without using itunes, or not having to move all my new songs to itunes everytime. If I am trasfering songs from a cd i do not want to keep them on my PC wasting space, but if they are not in the song libaray bank then they get deleted off the ipod. I hope all this makes sense. please help thanks

IRiver and Creative's Zen do what you want but I guess you've got the IPod now and don't want to change.
My advice on the deletion stakes is either don't or back up to DVD. Nothing worse than re-digitising your entire collection (which on my collection ITunes tells me will run uninterrupted or repeated for 18 days!)
You can try Tansee iPod Transfer which can backup songs and videos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs and videos to new ipod, computer or notebook.
