young savers account

Hi can anyone recommend a young persons account for a 13 year old with a cash card,

I am 16 next month and looking to open a savings account too, I have a visa electron card (can't get this upgraded to a debit card until i'm 18) and was told i can't open any type of savings account until i'm 18 too. Really annoying!!!
Only thing i can think of is setting up a new account of the same card and put money into that?
Go into your bank and see what they say :)

Great! Hope you can get it sorted because trust me you want money when your this age to start planning for gap years, driving lessons, uni etc!!! I need a job so badly hahaha
