Hi , Does anybody here work for virgin media , i,m trying to get a job with them as an instalation engineer i.e installing t.v , phone , broadband ect ,

Experience isn't essential. But you must have some technical knowledge, ideally covering HFC, telephony principles, signal level meters, analogue voltmeters and other stuff like that.


You know you want to be an installation engineer but you couldn't find this information ... that would ring alarm bells.

thanks for your answer , when i say i cant find the info i mean , i search for jobs in my area but nothing comes up , not sure if that means there aren't any vacancies in my area but i got told yesterday they were taking on , i am quite capable of doing the job .

bt are recruiting engineers at the moment through an agency called hays. Its as a contractor but i know several lads who are now working for bt having started with hays ?
