Lost PIN for my Nationwide bank card

I have lost my PIN for my bank card and I am going on holiday in a couple of days and it says on the Nationwide website that they send you pin to you home address but that will take days, if I telephoned them will they give me a new PIN over the telephone?

No, you could be anyone phoning. You could try going into your local branch and see if they can help.

No....your best bet is to go to the bank with your card and draw money out over the counter. Take ID with you...

I've done it Dot. It is for an account I don't draw money out of as a rule...everytime I try to I get the number wrong :-(

Thanks everyone but finally found it, it had slipped behind a drawer.
I wish I was as perfect as Dotty. My new card and PIN came over Christmas for my Savings Account which I don't use very often and with Christmas and everything I put the letter with the PIN away and forgot where.
It must be lovely to be so organised as Dotty and I take offence to being called names so if you have nothing constructive to say to people you should not be on here.

I can understand your concern - although they charge now for overseas withdrawals, Nationwide are still much cheaper in bank charges than the major clearing banks if you are taking this card abroad. I have changed my PIN, however, to something I won't forget!

Agree. JG; must be awful to be so perfect though? No fun in your life if you are never silly or have blonde moments, eh?
I often get the numbers round the wrong way for the card I use all the time and I'm not particularly unorganised, just a little, well, dotty to be frank =D
