My point has fallen flay anyway in that so many people over the years on AB have discussed appearance as an indication of character.

Here we have a situation that person has been applauded for his recovery, but those very same people would not give him a lift on a highway because of his appearance.

OK. some havent replied, some have side stepped the issue, one( pusskin) has been honest and it just shows what a dysfunctional band that represents the human race.

Hi Lottie, thank you for asking after C - very kind & hope you & yours are well.

She had an op on her nose just after Christmas to hopefully stop the nosebleeds & also had some skin lesions (Angiodysplasia - google) zapped at the same time. She has felt very tired since & her consultant said she's not surprised, as she was in theatre for 2.5 hours & lost a lot of blood. They just couldn't stop the flow, due to her weak veins. She's due for another iron infusion next Friday tho', which should give her the boost she needs & help her achey bones. She's still on the thalidomide drug, so hope for better health soon...♥

P.S. Just mentioned your good wishes to C & she also thanks you very much. ♥
