I have (quite legally) obtained the hack code to make my DVD player Region Free.
I have a few qualms about this.
Is there any risk to my DVD player in doing this.
Is it guaranteed that other region DVD's WILL play on it after it is hacked.
I get the feeling that it is "suck it and see"?

I have used the unlock code on my player for some time without any problems. If you set the region code to 0 then discs from all regions should play.
I should add that before I did it the first time the same thoughts crossed my mind, but I finally decided to suck it and see.

Hardware DVD player .. not a software player!
