If you are dissatisfied with your current provider and you have Sky TV then you may be able to negotiate a reasonably priced all inclusive deal with them.
NO!!!! We had sky Broadband and They rent the bandwidth off BT but they dont rent enouth of it and because more and more people sign up for it,They limit the speed and after a few months of having it they just started limiting us lower and lower until we was getting slower speeds than the old dial up, When we complained about it they tryed to fob us off at first but later admitted that they could see we was getting slow speeds and they admited it was because they didnt have enoth bandwidth to share between all the people using it in our area. The way they got away with it is that they say "up to 20mb" and not that you actualy get it. We cancled the sky internet and they sent us a 50quid charge for ending before the end of our contract. There internet was so bad basic websites would not load up most of the time and we had to wait until early hours of the morning just to use the internet. We are now with BT who provide unlimited broadband and have not had any problems since.
I have Sky unlimited broadband, TV and telephone, including line rental for about half the cost of having different providers. It's been years now and not one problem.
I'd recommend it without hesitation.
I am debating similar I.Don No.
We want Sky HD for the home but unsure whether to go the whole hog and get the total package inc phone and internet. We are currently with BT for the phone and internet, and pretty happy with the service?
Just weigh up the price and if majority of people you talk to say the Sky Package is a good service, that may be your answer. Thats what I am going to do.
I.Don No,I have had Sky TV for about two years then went for Sky Broadband and Telephone which I havn't had any trouble, the only problem is the Sky Broadband is free unless you go over your usage they then warn you and tell you that if you go over your usage again they will put you on Sky Unlimited which costs £7-50.
But if you then go down again to your original usage and stay down they wil not charge you £7-50,I hope this helps you decide.
I have never had any problems with sky, go for it.
Customer services are very good. You are not hanging on the phone for an hour like you are with Talk Talk.
