I've got a box of old 45s dating back to the 60s - mostly Motown . I am thinking of doing a Car Boot ... what sort of price should I ask? Or should I sell the whole box at Auction? Most of them don't have the sleeve. Thanks all.

if they don't have a sleeve they are worthless IMO as the old vinyl scratched so easily.
is 'hey girl don't bother me' in there?

I dont remember buying it dotty, but then again I dont remember what I did yesterday. If it is I will let you know. Maybe I will take them to the car boot then. They all bring back such memories of when I was a Mod but I dont have anything to play them on now.
Try some on ebay if the condition is good.
When I've done car boots I rarely got more than 30-50p for an LP or 20p for an old single since the buyer can't test the quality, and many just remain unsold. But I was once lucky and a collector just took the whole crate off me (maybe 60 LPs) for £20.
Unfortunately they don't seem to be worth a lot these days. My hubby sold his collection of 750 singles, all in their sleeves, for £50 last year. I have still yet to persuade him to get rid of all the boxes of LP's.

They hold so many memories for me but what is the point if I cant listen to them? I hope someone buys the whole box in one go! I have about 130.
Why can't you listen to them?
I assume they have no record player sandra...
Lol, I thought that once I'd posted!! You can pick a turntable up quite cheap these days, I'd keep them :o)

I have so much stuff to clear out sandra, I don't really want to buy a turntable and add to the turmoil .. I read somewhere that a clear out is good feng shui .. back I go in the attic ...
