I listed an item on eBay early December, it closed on 6th. I waited and waited for payment, nothing. Made contact with buyer, nothing. I opened a case with the resolution centre, and eventually got refunded for the insertion fees so I closed the case.
Today, I've received an email from the buyer, asking me to remove the unpaid item strike as she had been in hospital until last few days (hmm) - can I, and should I, do this?
Yes block the buyer. It happens on ebay, not everyone is honest, but you have to think of yourself, it doesn't sound like the truth somehow. I don't give negative feedback in these cases becuase she can then give you the same, so its not worth it.
Sellers cannot give buyers negative feedback, only positive feedback. That's why a person who only ever buys can never have anyting other than 100% positive feedback. It's ridiculous of course, as there are some very awkward buyers out there who will take advantage of this. Ebay should urgently solve this anomaly.
definitely block the buyer. I am having bother with non payer at the moment too & just put a case into the resolution centre. I will probably also get an email in due course with some silly explanation but I have already blocked this member for any future auctions.
