Can you please advise? My grand-daughter, age 10, is forever having time off from school because `she doesn`t feel well` and again she is off to-day, admittedly when my O/H and I visited yesterday she had a temperature and a sore throat, but other times I think she is just too lazy, like her mother, whom deserted them over a year ago for another woman. Could it be she is pining for the bitch, or could it be tonsillitis?
I'm glad to hear she's getting treatment and the ailment is genuine. What a complex situation.
BTW and IMO - as you suggest - those changes to your grand-daughter could be not too far away, not related to this illness, but girls do mature early these days. Might be hard for her, without her mum around to talk to.
wow, this is your 10 year old grandchild. perhaps, after her mother leaving, she doesn't want to lose sight of her father? perhaps she is being bullied? perhaps she is actually really unhappy and picking up on the tensions of her relatives?
I can't believe your first reaction was "laziness", poor child. she's 10.. how about a bit of empathy?
I refer to her being lazy because, like her mother she is very overweight and just sits around watching TV if allowed too. We have bought her a Xbox 360 to try and get her more active, which was ok for a couple of days till the novelty wore off.
And that is exactly why I lurve you sweetie..................!!
(You see why I worry about her condition? A beauty such as her, inside as well as out, should not have to suffer the way she does.) I am Big Tiger Mummy, Grrrr....
