... Anything interesting happening guys, any days out/nights out or trips planned?
I am working but still going to enjoy a few drinks tonight (not in work until 11am tomorrow).
Have been on a diet for ages, so treating myself on Sunday - what should I get Indian, Chineese, pizza - oh I am drooling!!!
Mine started last night when H came home -woop !!
Today -lazy..Out for a late brekkie -visit to the Pound shop which is closing down and everything is half price -how good does it get-spent £9-mountains of stuff :)))
Up to the Swiss Cheese Shop and bought 3 sensational cheeses -£14-gulp -mega sensational though - shall post in Food.
Tomorrow is Footie and Horse Racing day -wouldnt miss it.
Sunday -watching our Andy in the Aussie Open -go Andy then when he has won off to St. Andrews (almost my very fave place in the entire world) and to Ainster (Anstruther) for the best fish supper in the entire world -how good does it get :)))
He's not dour -he just doesn't see it as a personality contest thats all.Tell you -the fitness those guys and gals have is of the highest order -puts footballers to shame -they have 90 mins + and even at that they only have to move if the ball comes near them.Nearly 5hrs -I say big up to him and all the others -I certainly wouldnt look nor feel my best after that !!!
That aside -have to stick up for my fellow 'Brit' -really looking forward to the weekend-its great to have H back.Hope you have a good one as well (neck a couple of absythe shots -sorted for the night...)
Wow, consider my "crack a smile" comment retracted!! Last time I did Absynth shots I was collected from town by my mu and put bed (aged 25). But will certainly knock a few of something else down
Aw dont -he is just who he is jd and he is a really fun guy but he wont play up just to appease people An aside -did you know that during the Dunblane Massacre him and his brother were there right next to the gym and hid under the Headmasters table? People are too quick to judge him -he's likely younger than you but he is focussed and I dont think its a bad trait in fact I admire him for not cow towing.
I met a couple of mates a year or so back and one bought a round of Absythe shots-necked it.Then the other did -necked it -would have been rude not to buy my round as I was totally compus mentis -so necked that as well.Slid gracefully off the barstool to find my legs didnt work -had to be dragged up to my house by some kind male friends -they had to leave me -I managed to bang on the door and my H came and he go me in as far as the hall -im not that heavy -there I lay...........i'll never touch that green poison again !! I was jesting telling you take it -its lethal :(((((
I did hear of the Dunblane story re Andy Murray. Surely had an impact on him, true enough. His is a skilled, dedicated and probably very personable guy. It just doesnt come across on camera (which I get it, is the point - he wont appease people).
Fair enough, and good luck to him.
I wont even touch the "why doesn't he class himself as British" debate - I support all British sportmen and women and am proud of their achievements!
Tonight I'll be staying in and doing as little as possible altough I'll have to go out and pick the bf up from town at some point. We're going for dinner tomorrow night so I might drag him round the shops tomorrow but that's about it really. I'll basically just be eating all weekend.
