Does the Female Linesman share the Refs changing room?

It reminded me to ask this question.......does the female lines(wo)man share the changing facilities with the referee and the other linesman? Could be kind of interesting if she does and I might just sign up with the FA to become a match official.

On the few occasions I've officiated with female colleagues they've always been offered a separate changing room but they've all arrived (and left) with a track suit over their kit anyway. However several of them have remained in the officials' changing room while we guys have been getting changed, or showered, so it's only been the women who've ever 'seen anything' ;-)

Absolutely, Buenchico.....and I have the Jo Brand award ready for female discrimination against we men........though her jokes are pretty good - that maybe the difference! We can laugh at ourselves and a lot of women can't against themselves.

This is an issue for small clubs. My local grass roots team already had separate changing facilities for officials but had to build an extra changing room to cater for the occasional female official. Bearing in mind some officials for junior games can be aged under 18 it's essential separate facilities are available

I can see that being a problem, also for rugby clubs too esp with young juniors.....a lot of women give their time as coaches......but then stay in their kit and tracksuits for the after-bocial.

Sadly, when I was a ref, I never had a female to run the line. The mind boggles at the thought of Miss Massey changing and showering in front of me, though? (Phew!)
