Brian Jones-The strange death of....
Okay...This might be a bit libellous, but does anyone have any info on whether Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones was murdered on the behest of Alan Klein(now deceased) or perhaps the other Stones to prevent them having to pay a £100K payout to Brian as a severance payout to Brian after he left the Stones?

Anyone famous dying in less than clear-cut circumstances causes consipracy theories - and Brain Jones is no exception.
It's highly unlikley that the other Stones would have wanted him dead - just out of the band because he was incapable of writing or playing any more.
These theories go on and on and no-one knows the truth, so best just to ignore the rumours and enjoy the music he left behind.

Dearie me,
Why is it that when an ordinary person is drowned(or found dead) under expalianable circumstances it is agreed as an accident.
However, when anyone famous dies (especially if they are young) then it's got to be suspicious,or murder?
People/Fans just cannot cope with it.
Much as Elvis fan insisit he is till alive and working in a burger bar etc!
Michael Hutchence fans cannot believe he was engaged in auto erotic sex, they say it was an accident.Being found in a hotel room wardrobe hanginfg from his belt!
The Brian Jones death/murder theories have been around for so long.
As doc says he was drugged up/drunk and fell into the pool(or tried to swim) and choked on his own vomit and died.
Something like that can happen in just a few minutes.
It's very sad,but it's something that comes with the rock territory.
Deathbed confession huh,who or where are the witnesses?
Conspiracy theories fall apart like spiders web with one breath of common sense blown onto them.

Frank Thorogood who was a builder doing some work at Brian Jones`s place claimed (to his uncle) on his deathbed that he killed Brian Jones. The uncle was the only witness to what Frank Thorogood said so there`s no evidence that there was a confession. Brian Jones was sacked by the rest of the Rolling Stones before he died so there was no reason to give him a severence payout. Brian Jones was astmatic, a drug addict and had a diseased liver. He wasn`t exactly healthy. There has also been some speculation that he could have been epileptic.
