The questions were asked several times and weren't answered on here so I was just curious.

I'm pretty sure I considered the Belle Stars but discounted it after further investigation- maybe because I thought it was a bit later that 70s,.

I'm not sure if someone did suggest The Belle Stars as a possible answer - I thought the Fuzzbox girls (Putting one of the girls names into Google with Fuzzbox on the end brought up images of the whole band). We never know the answers until the comp closes.

According to Wikipedia they were formed in 1980. There is no reference to the band members changing their names although I know that Jennie added Bellestar as a middle name
