Lottie - the first reason would be that both OH and myself would want to share the joy of their day (- we like a good cry at a wedding) and the second would be because we would like to get to know the partner (and no the colour of the skin is of no consequence to us).
Fair enough Welsh. I was just interested. I realise that we are all different. I just don't like weddings. My parents didn't know Mr LL very well and I only met his parents a few weeks before we got married. We also come from very different backgrounds.
