I have recently bought the above fan to fit into a hole already cut into a new UPVC window in my kitchen.I would like to install the unit myself without paying for an expensive electrician. Is this possible (the written instructions are very complicated) or is this not a good idea?
Any suggestions please?

Thank you Albags but what about size of fuse required.Their instructions are very vaque to say the least
Many thanks
It will tell you the wattage of the fan though.

watts/volts=current

So if it's a 50w fan (and as we are on 240volts in the UK)

50/240=0.20amps

Then fit the next highest size fuse you can get.
5A will be fine.
