to lunch or not to lunch, that is the question!

a neighbour became quite a good friend, but since her man moved in (about 2 years ago) I tend to only see her when she wants something, or when she has some unexpected spare time.
I've just had a text "long time no see. fancy lunch? it's my first free day for ages".
I don't have plans for today but can't decide whether to go. obviously I'm not too bothered either way.
what do you think?

cheers pixi, you're a gem!!

society, craft may have more to say about this matter ;o)

and I won't agree to do anything I don't want to.. I'll just be annoyed that I feel for it again.
who will be paying - that's what i'd ask before saying yes
go, make her pay for lunch as well, that should make her think :)
Society the grandkids are great, but you can have them for a change :-)

the bill will be split, even though she helps herself to her bloke's money!
I'd go, lunch sounds nice and it's always good to catch up with friends, maybe she's been missing you and the friendship and that's why she has invited you.
Did you go and did she have an ulterior motive?

hi Barb, I went and it was fine.. and she didn't ask for anything!

China, I think she was at a loose end, but it was still nice to have a catch up.
Phew.... but I know what you mean, we have a neighbour who we never see unless they are after something.
