Toddler with a sore tummy
6 Answers
My 2.5 year old daughter has been complaing of a sore tummy on and off for over a week now. The first time she said her tummy hurt, she did have a slight temperature (38.7) but after one dose of calpol she seemed better again, some days she hasn't mentioned it but it has woken her up on two nights, and today she has been quite out of sorts.
She hasn't shown any other signs of illness until today, but sometimes says that her bum hurts too - in nursery on Friday she seemed unable to sit down on the plastic chairs and had to be given a cushion before she would sit and eat. Her appetite has been fine, there haven't been any unusual or stressful things happening lately, she hasn't had diarrohea, or consipation, I don't think it's an attention thing because she hasn't had any attention for this, we try never to make a fuss out of injuries or illness with her.
Is it worth her seeing a GP? Anyone got an idea of what this could be?
