I gave my friends a lovely dark red rose named 'Ruby Wedding' 2 years ago.
A local garden centre packed & posted it to them for £31.00 inc. postage. It arrived in pristine condition, (in a pot of course) gift wrapped.
They were absolutely delighted & planted it without delay enjoying beautiful flowers again last summer.

Henry Street Garden Centre, Arborfield, Reading, Berks. They have a website so you can look them up.

I once did a food hamper full of all red things or red tins and wrappers and big red bow around. They have to be special things that they wouldnt normally buy
