Will have a look there too JD. It's so hard trying to decide where to go when you have never been before. It's good to have the likes of all of you to say don't go to that dump.

Bleeugghhh. Yeah, we are a bit passed the whole, sleep until 2pm, eat the nearest mcd's for breakfast, spend the rest of the day getting plasted, spend the rest of the night vomming and trying to remember where your hotel is.
I did do 18/30's when I was 17 and it was fun then but once was enough. Plus the bf can be a bit of a snob (unjustified) so I don't think a return to my 17 year old way would be a great thing for our relationship. We had a few days in Barcelona a couple of years ago and it was perfect. If we could just extend that to a week and half the cost we'd be happy days.

Husband and I went a couple of years ago (both late 30's then, but love a good time) and paid £200 for a week each s/c and thought it was a bargain. So it depends on what the price is - we had a moped for a day or two, and mainly lay round the pool (sun is sun wherever you are) but I do recall the beach was a thin strip of sand, very busy and the locals were very pushy - but we just ignore that. We found a few good restaurants but there a lot of your local cafe type places too.
