My son's having his impacted wisdom tooth out in hospital today. He has been in absolute agony for the last couple of months. I'm sure he'll be fine but I'm worrying about him! I'll be happier when our daughter-in-law phones to say it's OK. Aren't I silly?

oh the poor sod. I had to have all 4 taken out at the hospital in one go. The relief afterwards though was heaven.

He'll look a bit bruised and battered for a couple of days, but he'll already be feeling the sweet blessed relief from toothache.
i have all those ingredients so that's it - tea sorted! Thank you, I've been trawling through tinternet all morning.
Glad to hear your son's ok x ♥ x
Boo, I had all mine out at the same time and let me tell you it hurts like f**k. I couldn't shave for a week with the pain afterwards. I was off work for 3 days and i'm never off sick normally.
well you big girls blouse!

I had all 4 take out in in the morning, was home at lunchtime. Spent afternoon in bed, then was back to normal (well, as normal as I get ) by that night.
Boo - sodding show off!!

Welshie - I think I know.

Cris I hope you enjoy it. When you put the sugar in make sure they're nice rounded heaps!

Redhelen - isn't every operation under general anaesthetic a "proper" operation then? It's the anaesthetic that scares me. But I do know what you mean. My Mum had a 5 hour op a few years ago when she had bowel cancer - that really WAS scary. She's still with us I'm pleased to say.
Horseshoes - begins with W and ends in s !!!

Welshyorkie - Oh yes I DO know. I used to live in that little white house right on the waterfront at Dickie's. Am I glad we moved!!!!!
horseshoes -great stuff !! I always worry with a general anaesthetic -its just human nature...that bloody feeling just before you go under blaghhh.

Have to say that the poster of the day award MUST go to Welshyorkie -I havent laughed so much on one thread for ages - just shows that men cant multi task !!
The liver -totally lMAO ! The big wuss cos it was sore and he couldnt shave (thats why men cant have babies) and the DONT say in every post to horseshoes cos he'll get rumbled lol.
Think ive just met my new fave ABer !!!

Lol Dris. Have a look at what Yorkie says on Jemisa's garden Song ABC. We'll have fun with Welshyorkie!
Im off to have a look..............I think he is very funny (yip you Yorkie) -so obviously trying to juggle just 2 things at once and failing miserably lol
Dris/Horseshoes - You two have had your fun at my expense but, hey, I can live with that - I do have a sense of humour. I have no worries about being rumbled - it's just that the firm i work for has, shall we say, a mixed reputation and sometimes it is better not to be associated with it (even though I have worked here over 30 years). I hadn't read the thread from jem properly and jumped in with both feet - another of my frailties, i'm afraid. I'm glad someone has taken a shine to me on this site - it's only taken 15 months!!! Antway haven't you heard of the Xanadu plant and the Zabadak tree?
hahahaha-Yorkie please dont change !!! Id be cagey about my work as well -if I worked.
You may have been low flying on here for 15mths (I must have been in a daze) but you havent half given me a laugh today and dont even think for a second it was at your expense....cos it was- but it want at you or I wouldnt have posted.Have to say havent heard of those particular plants but i'll look out for them in future :)
psst -dont tell anyone... but youre my favourite (best Brucie voice) :)

I know what you mean about the firm Welshyorkie.

We had a Zabadak tree in our garden but we cut it down 'cos it was obstructing the view of the Xanadu plant which is much more attractive.
Aww thanks, Dris, I am on the site first thing in the morning when I get in to the office and pop in (so to speak) during the day when I get a few minutes to myself. Some days go by where I am 100% and others when I am 100% dipstick - especially when i've got other things on my mind - like today when I thought of kidney but spelt it liver because i'd just been posting on another thread to sqad!! Those plants don't really exist - except in my mind - and no I haven't been on the waccy baccy!! You will also find that my typing and spelling can leave a lot to be desired but I am thinking of the right words this keyboard just types them wrong. Well going now as I knock off at 4. Have a nice day y'all.
I have typo dyslexia as well Yorkie-its all good fun and thats what it was today !!Have a great night...although i'll be too late :) (BTW my H works in your original neck of the woods-great place -he lives in a village o/s T----k -( he does) but lol)
