I like a marmite and plain crisp sandwich.
I'm a Suvner and I love egg and bacon sarnies.
bacon sarnie, prawn sandwich and chip butty.
I live in the Black Country,we call sandwiches "paces"
"Ave we paces?" Means have we got our sandwiches.

When we are allowed out of the area I'd call them sandwiches though :-)
southerner but definately am a butty sarnie
WBA - having lived in or near both places, I suspect the "pace" comes from the same place as the Scottish "piece" - just a different accent!
In South Yorkshire they appear to become 'samwidges'.............
A true southerner and I have never had a chip butty.
Why does one never get hungry at the seaside?

Because of the sand which is there ;o)
Groan @ ttfn..... Sandwich is round the corner from me, Ham's next to it.
What do you expect boxy - it is hard going being back at work. I have to take it out on someone, and I live alone. Tough on AB I know, but live with it.
