Why does red Labour make it's own people suffer to score poliutical points?
Manchester council is cutting front line necessary services rather than the back room bowlox jobs. Obviously a cynical ploy to attack the governement. Why are people so brainwashed that they still support these red hipocrites? If the people had any sense Labour would be out in places like Manchester and Liverpool next chance, some hope!

A non job is a job that isn't needed or understood by the recipient.
i.e I am employed so why is there a need to employ people in Social security offices.
I am not a woman or a mother so I have no idea what a "Breast Feeding Co-ordinator"
so that is obviously a ridiculous job.
Yet another ill thought out attack on something that some people don't understand.
All parties are cutting and will continue to I am quite sure that any cuts will be where they have to be.

R1, has it occurred to you that the reason the 'non-jobs' aren't being cut may be that it's because they're something of a myth? Or an exaggeration? If it was as you're describing, then you'd think such positions would easily be the first to go - but maybe they're not because there actually aren't that many?
well the first one is a classic jake, "program manager new ways of working" - genius - £53K to not do any actual work at all but to be a pain in the proverbial to those on half as much that do an actual function.
They need to get the heads out of their ar5se and realise that they are their as public servants to get on with what we need

".....authoroisation by cabinet" yep you guessed it local authorities have Cabinets now! more snout in the trough antics. They get wages too. No wonder they are squirming when asked to save money! Listen I know several councillors and they are a particular mind set that think it's their right to milk the public purse. personally I'd get shot of local authorities altogether, you don't need 60 councillers to run a town! a dozen half decent managers could do it. councillor run jack any way!
Apparently the children’s services directorate will see the biggest reduction in posts, losing 42 per cent of its staff, or 926 people.
If what they say is true and they are only trimming certain services down to make them more efficient, cutting this important directorate by almost half must mean that it was vastly over staffed in the first place.
