Hi there, I was investigating a "plug in" diesel tuning module to increase the bhp in my car. The site in question : http://www.mrhoot.com/defaultgoogleads.asp .

says that the power will increase from 110 bhp to 136 bhp and also increase the fuel efficency. Because my car is already a turbodiesel, i was wondering if ths kit is bad for the engine, possible over-stressing it and hence making it un-reliable. Should I stay away from the after market products or trust the technology? I hope someone can shed some light on the topic.

Thanks.

I wouldnt worry about damage to your engine because to be honest I doubt you would notice much difference from the 26bhp upgrade it might drive a bit smoother but at 136 ponys your not gonna blow anybodys doors off.
