Hello
Our twin girls of 16 months get disturbed whenever we use our vacuum cleaner and they both start crying and really sobbing in distress, whether one cries because the other starts i am not sure. I suppose they will grow out pf this but would appreciate any advice
on this. They will play merrily until i switch it on even in another room.

My nephew used to have this problem. As soon as it was turned on he would cry and say "too noisy". When I asked him what was the matter he just kept crying "hoo. Hoo". I thought it was really cute. Anyway,...

Oh God! I've experienced both sides of this coin! My boy used to hate the "Hoover" which kind of rubbed off on his 3 years younger sister for a while, she is now fine and "HELPS OUT" with the hoovering at every possible opportunity! My Nephew however couldn't wait to get hold of a vacuum cleaner and even received one from Father Christmas at 2! Battle through, they'll soon find they can shout without worry at the noisy monster and it'll soon go away!
