Husband Won't Eat

Yep it's me again. My OH will not eat in hospital, he has pulled the tube they put up his nose into his stomach last night and I'm at my wit's end with the stubborn *&^%.

Will he die? What can they do if he continues to refuse nutrition?

Chrissa - I too am catching up with threads having been away and also a pc virus to handle.

I am so sorry to hear your news and my commiserations to you and your family. Focus on the happy times you all had and that does help....believe me. I trust your family and friends are rallying around.......

Chrissa I am so sorry for your loss. I know from your posts that he was unhappy with the way things were for him. I am glad for you and for him that the end was a gentle one. May he rest in peace now. I saw your poem on the other thread, its beautiful.
