There is only me and Mrs MM. Today we got our gas and electic bill. I realise it has been a cold winter. At this point I will not say the cost of the bills. Are your bills a surprise or a shock?

It used to cost us around £350-£400 a time to fill our oil tank twice a year now it is around £700 a time. Where will it all end?

I think if I was at home all the time out bills would be huge, when I have a week off at home i know I definatelt use more. The pre-pay meters don't cost more per unit than run through but they have the standing charge factored into the cost which makes it seem they are more expensive but they are not.
