A professional conversation I had has been audiotaped without my permission. The taping was revealed at the end of the conversation. What laws have been broken and what should happen now?

It's perfectly legal to record conversations covertly. (When I was a union rep I always covertly recorded any meeting where I was representing a member). Long may it remain so!

No law has been broken. As Chris says, it is ideal for providing proof of a conversation instead of "my word against yours" arguments.
