Isn't it obvious what caused the ringing in your ears you silly thing. OK, I don't even know you and have no right to say you're a silly thing, but honestly it's worying me how anyone can be so care-less!
The inner workings of your ear are, believe it or not, very delicate. The ringing effect you have after subjecting them to a loud din is simply your ears saying why the heck are we being so misstreated, overloaded? If you don't stop subjecting your ears to that kind of mistreatment they will just give up and leave you with a constant ringing in your head. Sounds nice doesn't it.
I advise you to stay where the noise is not so destructive and consider earplugs, even a bit of rolled-up cotton wool. P.S. A Saturday night out resulting in "even now still have a faint ringing in my ears" doesn't make it Fab. Your sense of hearing is something you only get once. It does deteriorate, naturaly, it does not "mend" or "get better" please take better care of it.
