New Plus 5 Lotto Draw. Good or Bad?

I see in the UK Lotto there is a new option whereby if you do the main Lotto for £1 you can then enter another 5 daily draws for an extra £1. This seems like good value as it is only 20p per draw. Is this a good thing as it's a cheap way to enter extra draws or may it be considered a bad thing as technically punters are now gambling on a daily basis?

As I see it. it is a waste of time as there is only one prize for all 6 numbers. Ok you may be lucky but I think the lottery peaple are slowly killing it with too many games scratchcards etc.

It's another ploy in order to get an extra Pound out of you. Great if you win but the odds are against us.
The National Lottery needs a complete revamp. £10 for 3 numbers is too low.
On the Irish Lottery at the Bookies you can win £500 or even £600 for 3 Numbers. Big difference.

Betting on the Irish lottery means you just pick 3 numbers and they all need to be drawn. On the UK lottery if 3 of your 6 are drawn you win a tenner.

yes but you only pick 3 numbers redman but with lotto you pick 6 so you get 20 different sets of three.

the true odds of getting 3 correct with 3 choices is 49!/(46!3!) which is 36848 so the bookies are taking the pi55 by paying out £600.
