I am overweight and looking for an entry level position where I am not constantly on my feet
10 Answers
I have previously worked in Retail (Sales Assistant at shops) and Bar Work (pubs and bars) and both of these jobs require me to be on my feet all day, which I can no longer do.
I have also worked as a Telephone Interviewer, which thankfully is a seated position but unfortunately is a casual job rather than a permanent full time one.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do?

I agree with Boo who put it so eloquently.
Try the careers advice in town; they should be able to steer you in the right direction.x

I am assuming from your username that you are, as sara says, around 27 or 28. Good Lord, this is not the attitude you should have. What the hell are you going to be fit for by the end of your 'working-life'.
Get a grip. Get a gym membership. Get out walking in your spare time, then maybe you will have more options open to you.
You may seem this is harsh advice, and not what you wanted, but you need a different attitude.

To be fair Tuesday has not said if she is overweight for a medical reason.
If the fact is simply you are overweight as you are inactive then its simple eat less move more......
If its down to a medical condition, i would suggest go go to your job centre and talk to a career advisor, to look at possible work suiited to your medical needs.
