Law against verbal neighbors
6 Answers
not sure if this is in the right topic,
what can be done peacefully to a neighbor that gives you a load of verbal abuse every time you see him, about your activities on your land that he claims is fouling up his property, that is not true.
You try to appease him, but you have to turn and walk away but he carries on getting louder and louder, it is getting us down with the incessant rantings.
Hope some one can point us to some lawful act that we can use, thanks for any replies Tez

Antisocial behaviour is any aggressive, intimidating or destructive activity that damages or destroys another person's quality of life.

tezestwing you don't mention what kind of activities your neighbour is complaining about. What may seem to be perfectly reasonable to you may be totally unacceptable to your neighbour even if the activities are carried out on your land , particularly if it affects his enjoyment of, or is detrimental to, his property and if that were the case, the law would probably be on his side. Hopefully, you do not retaliate with the verbal abuse . By far the best thing would be to try to reach a compromise with him-some give and take in other words.
