My 18th birthday party

What should I do?

It'll be a Thursday in September, probably a week or two after we go back to college.

I'm not if I should do something with family and friends together or have two events, maybe something more formal at the weeekend when more of my family can come and something more teenagerish with my friends, although I'm not the type to go clubbing and most of my friends aren't and won't be 18 anyway.

what about going out for a really nice meal with your closest friends family in a swanky restaurant of your choice ?

zzxxee that'd be expensive and i wouldn't want to leave people out. Plus there aren't any swanky restaurants nearby.
