It sure feels like that. My youngest isnt even walking yet but stands alone and climbs everything in sight. My house is as child proofed as ever but he still bumps his head at least twice a day. I worry he will be brain damaged by the time he is 2!
He constantly has bruises on his forehead and even the doctor at a&e questioned it the other week. Talk about making me feel bad. I dread to think what he will be like when he does learn to walk.

Nah....According to my Mum my accident history goes back to the day I could crawl. Not much better now. I haven't broke a bone for at least 6 months..!!
I'm sure he's just like any toddler who is very active Tig. I worry about Lt Tiggs as he's 9 months and hasn't even started crawling yet. He also still has difficulty sitting up straight.
sounds like my brother's little one William, he's Just walking, but, he can bruise himself in a lobsterpot playpen, with nothing in it! Seriously Roo, my sis-in-law made him a padded band to wear around his head, but no sooner she puts it on him off it comes and he tries to eat it....
Our gardener is only a young man but he and his three daughters and his wife always seem to have some sort of illness, broken bones, gastric upsets gall bladder ops, they are well know at the local hospital A&E.
I've got a friend who has 3 boys aged from 8 to 12 and she has spent the past few years in A&E practically every weekend with one or another of them. They are always ending up with stitches or broken bones or something. I think boys are just wilder and more adventurous so get into more trouble :)
The joys of parenting, tigs........no worries as it's all part of him growing up. Believe me, when he actually feels the pain from what he does to his head, he'll soon stop in a hurry.........

At the moment, Everything he sees, touches, smells, and can get too is potentially interesting to further investigate, with any little toddler. :0)

Its just at the back of my mind that someone will suspect me of hurting him with all these bruises. I am paranoid though!
Tigger I wouldnt worry about your baby not crawling yet or struggling to sit. I have known loads of babies like this who have developed into normal active toddlers. They all develop at their own rate and my daughter sat on her backside and never attempted to move until she was 12 and a half months! Enjoy him staying still while you have the chance hee hee.
