Another tip ... I am always being asked if I know of a gardener ( I work mainly with retired or disabled people). When I suggest they offer a part of there garden to someone who wants to grow their own, in return for some free garden mainteance.
Most of them say it;s a great idea ... but where will they find such a person ?
Advertise in your local shop ... '' Free garden maintenance and some fresh veg in return for growing plot in your garden '' .. do it now as spring is just around the corner.
I'm sure you will get some takers.
