What do you know about an author of science fiction called Virgo Statton?

First of all, his name is actually "Vargo Statten". It's a psuedonym of the Britsh writer John Russell Fearn (1908-60), who wrote far too many stories to list here. I found all this in the Encyclopedia of Science Fiction (1993, ed. John Clute and Peter Nicholls), where you could look up his entry.
