Humax issue

My Humax box starts recording programmes 2 minutes late. I've looked through the menu but can't see how to fix this. I don't want to do the scheduling manually as I series link a lot. Can anyone help please?

How about resetting your clock on the box ...

Some devices like this (I know the sky box does) allows you to set a time to add before and after a program you record, say 5 minutes or whatever.

This affects all programs, not just a particular one.

Is that option available on your box?

I can't see any options, it is set to auto so I would have assumed the recording would sync to the start time. I haven't had it for long so I might have to study the manual. Thanks anyway x

Can't really help, but I have a humax PVR and I have very few problems, Very occaisionally it will miss the last minute or so of a programme, but I suspect this is caused by conflict of recording another programme due when that one is supposed to end, as even when a programme starts late OR early generally it will catch it all. As with yours it is on series link settings,as to remove that will do away with the option to start recording when the programme starts. I can't recall if you can set the time as I think this is done automatically.
