Removing unwanted colour

Hi,

I just completed a wash in the machine using a colour catcher which did an admiral job on protecting all the clothes except for a pink blouse that has come out looking very drab. I'm sure I have seen an ad on the telly about a washing product that will remove unwanted colour obtained this way. Can anybody tell me what this product is called.

Dylon colour run remover but its only safe on whites might be better to overdye the blouse a new colour

I used Dylon colour run remover after washing all my light colours including whites with a cheap purple cheesecloth top that I didn't remove from my machine. The whole packet later and everything was still pale purple!!!

rowanwitch is right I used it on a lilac jumper and it took all the colour that had run and the original colour as well. Better to buy a pink dye.

It's not that bad so I think from what you all have said it would be best just to leave it.

one other strange idea...it works on hair so might on fabric try washing it in head and shoulders,,,,it seems to destabilise chemical pigments so they fade...nothing to lose after all if its just an accumulation of stray dye

Well I tried soaking it in Vanish for about ½ hour and that did the trick.
