Update on the puppy I collected today...

She is lovely and a cross between a terrier and a Chiwaha. (sorry about the spelling)

When I got home with her she spent nearly 2 hours exploring my bungalow and was very excited.

She was brought into the vets by the RSPCA who it was reported to by a social worker that she was sick and in pain on a travelers site. It was discovered that she had swallowed two rubber dummy teats and was operated on and nearly died.

Anyway she is in safe hands now and biting my toes, licking my face off and is showing so much affection.

Will send a photo when I get the time, she is lovely!!!!

I admire you for giving an unwanted puppy a home. I can't bring myself to have another. I wish I could .I had to have my lovely Labrador put to sleep 18 months ago but he is still everywhere ..He was so intelligent. I feel as if he is still with me .People say just get another smaller dog this time as there are plenty dogs that would like a good home but I feel I cannot give my love to another yet. I wish I didn't feel this way.You cherish her she will be your best friend forever.

As for a traveller name, is that wise considering she had such an awful time with them? I'd gor for something oddball like Beryl or something, but i am a little weird.
