St George Cross on Barcelona Badge
Can someones please firstly confirm that it is a St George Cross on the Barcelona FC badge and if it is why?
I'm having a bit of todo with my Dad about it and the only thing I have found to confirm it is a St George Cross is from Wikipedia, but he believes everything on Wiki is crap and made up so still won't believe me.

The club initials FCB appear on a strip across the centre, and below are the Barça colours and a ball. So, what we have is a crest that honours the sporting dimension of the club as well as its connection to its city and country. From the Barcelona FC website :)
