Hi Ratter, yes it is 10mg and I'm 11 st, 6. I want to take it now but I also want to read for a bit before I fall asleep! Will I snore and wake my oh up as him snoring keeps me awake!
if it is your first time taking the medication wheaten, we all react to medication differently. id hate to think i mislead you about the 30minutes, although 3minutes is very quick ?
Ann, when this lady first came to us we didnt expect it either, we gave her her tablet then immediately started walking her to her bedroom, she fell to the floor asleep on route, we now make sure she is in bed before giving her meds. I agree it is quick and other residents take longer but mostly well within 30 mins.
Hi (to Anneasquith), meds took about 20 minutes. Had a lovely sleep, no sweats, chills etc or waking up to go to the loo. Slept through til 8am and have not felt tired today, as I would usually do. Can't wait for tonight's dose as husband says 'we never do anything as you're always tired'. Oh, hold on.. he'll be watching the rugby so we won't be doing anything anyway!
From working in Residential homes, I've noticed there can be a big difference in effects on different people. I've also seen very elderly people fall asleep almost immediately on it, and others still walking around for the whole night.
hi wheaten, i posted earlier on molly"s thread to ask you how things went last night. so glad you had a good night sleep and that you feel the benefit of it today,,,,,,,, anne
