What kinda stuff do the following microsoft programmes do?

groove, inforpath, one note, silverlight.

I tried clicking on groove and it's asking me about creating anaccount and all sorts.

Grove is for document collaboration.

Infopath is for creating and filling out forms.

one note is, in microsoft words, for free form note taking and sharing, basically it's a posh scrap/note book that you can share with others

Silverlight is for web based media, it's Microsoft attempt to make their own flash player.
