Two toned hair color?

Ok so my hair right now is a redish-brown color all over but right now I want to dye the bottom half of my hair a darker brown or black.

Thats the color of my hair now, would that look good with black under half of it?

I don't link this under-and-over look, it looks like you couldn't make up your mind. Streaks or highlights, yes, but not layers of different colour.

I dont think id like that......ur hair is lovely colour but if u fancy something bolder why not go redder!? I think black and red is a bit severe being honest xxxx

Not a good combination, I agree with the others. When I see the tips dyed different it looks wrong, My daughter has a striking stripe of scarlet thru black and that looks ok.

Is the photo your hair ? 2 tone tints show off corkscrew curls, they're edgy/raw & give texture to a style. You could add clip extension rather than tinting. Look at bottom of this site.
