3 Answers
Hi there,
Been using Outlook 2007 for my emails for the last 12 months with no problems.
But now when I send a mail it won't come back with a 'delivery receipt' even though I tick the box every time ?
Any thoughts please ?
Thank u,
Sy

Whether or not you get one depends on the person you are sending it to. Most e-mail clients have optional settings on how to deal with a delivery receipt request: Always, Never, and Ask.
So. for example, if you e-mailed me, you would never get a a delivery receipt, because that's how I've configured my e-mail client.

Ok thanks for that........ definately something wrong though...?
Before everytime I sent a mail to anyone I always got a delivery receipt to show whether it had got to them or not.... this gets sent back as confirmation even if there computer is off, it shows it has made it to their in box.
Not confusing this with a 'read receipt' which I also tick... but never really got any of these back maybe only a few if people could be bothered.
Thank u,
