I've just returned from my arctic adventure. it was absolutely brilliant. a million times harder than i expected and far far colder than I could ever had imagined!! It was -35 and everything froze! nostril hair and eyelashes!!!!
I husky sledded in Kiruna and stayed in a wilderness cabin where we had get water from the frozen lake and take care of our own team of huskies. it was hard work but needed to be as it was a challenge that I was raising money for a local mencap centre. I saw a fantastic display of the northern lights which was the icing on the cake. what an adventure! you're never too old to realise your dreams x

Sweden is a very elongated country and I'm in Stockholm now but grew up down south where one year the temperature was the same on New Year's Eve as it was on Midsummer's Eve later that year: 9°C... (ABOVE zero, I hasten to add:)
Your pictures are just marvellous. The huskies enjoyed it too didn't they:) Thanks for the update!
