Do you have a scanner with a slide/transparency adaptor, or a dedicated slide/transparency scanner? If not can you borrow one from a friend? If yes ,just scan them in, and save them as jpeg's, then burn them onto a data dvd project. Most dvd players will automatically show them in a slideshow.

If you don't have a scanner etc, try taking them to your nearest photo shop, who can transfer them to cd, eg jessops, klick, poss even boots.

thank you for your reply scottporter. My scanner does not have the adaptor you mentioned. I did consider taking slides to Jessops, but with 3000+ slides !!! Is the adaptor something which can be purchased as an add on?
Hi, I'm scanning mine straight into Photoshop from an Epsom Perfection 1660 scanner that can be picked-up either in shops or eBay fairly cheap. Didn't realise that the scanner has the slide holder hidden in its lid - takes some time at 4 at a time though!
