Called a racist because he had never experienced racism and was also accused of ‘stigmatising black people’.
No this person was not white he is Ben Douglas a black person, who was adopted as a child by a white couple, he went on to say,
/// Dr Campbell and the rest of the Left-leaning Establishment have ruled the roost for far too long, myopically obsessed with ‘equality’ without stopping for a second to think about how it affects real people .///
Perhaps Dr Campbell (chief executive of Race Equality in Sandwell, West Midlands.) thought that Black children should not be adopted by white persons for the very reason that they may turn out like Ben Douglas, after rubbing up close the white people?

/// my point is........why on earth is there a lack of coloured families coming forward to adopt coloured children??? ///
Now one could open a whole can of worms, to answer that.
Enough to say that it must be a culture thing, that is why as much as the politicians wish it, certain groups will never truly integrate with the indigenous population.

I don't think the two are necessarily relevant. You don't see many Asian families adopting other people's children either, but they will take on their own relatives' children if the parent dies. It may be that those families invited to the UK after the war from the Caribbean to work, who settled here (and who now are in the host population) just don't culturally adopt. We can't blame them if they don't and say they must, if they live here.

I already explained why there are so few black adopter to last week.
Do you want me to remind you of what I wrote?
It's the same reason why very few working class families adopt. It costs a lot of money to adopt a child, so if you look at the socio-economic background of adoptive families, you will find nine times out of ten, they will be in the ABC1 bracket.
Why is this concept is so hard to understand???

Who do you think don't integrate with indigenous Brits?
I could understand if you were referring to (say) barrooms jahib-wearing Muslims who live their whole lives only speaking to, and interacting with other Muslims, but you absolutely COULDN'T be referring to those of African or West Indian backgrounds.
That would be so very, very, very incorrect. You would have to be blind (or not in possession of a television) to believe that.
Look around any pub in London, any Taio Cruz gig, any supermarket, any bus stop, any workplace.
I'm astounded to hear you don't think blacks are integrated.
If that were so - could you explain the existence of so many biracial kids and adults around the country?
Seriously - that was an extremely poorly thought out statement.

Yes granted, but just because say the majority of blacks are living on the bread line, and some of their men don't stay in a stable relationship ie why so many single parent families, doesn't mean they are all the same.
There is very little evidence of well to do black families or even black celebrities, choosing to adopt either black or white children.

Do you think that White families adopt through altruism, or because they desperately want a child?
I'm not saying that black families are all on the breadline - that would be silly. But it IS true that there are far more White middle class families with the means to adopt.
And by the way - the number of black foster families blows your argument out of the water, doesn't it?
Foster families (many of them black) provide a MUCH greater service to the community, because they foster vulnerable children. You could argue that adopters are satisfying their own needs.

Why does a black child have to relate to his/her "cultural" roots? If you are a child brought up in Britain you are British as Mr Douglas so obviously proves.
If a white child is of Irish parents they don't look for an Irish family to adopt him. This has always been an example of positive discrimination, where adults put adult prejudices in the way of a childs needs.
We may not be a multicultural society but we are a multied hued society and the sooner these dispicable petty prejudices are left behind the better.
