Where is it?

I was typing out a document on my laptop which I needed to print out several copies of
the document required a mathematical "Divided" sign and I've been stuck ever since, I can't find one on here, I have a standard keyboard so am I missing something or is there one on here? if so where.

The / is used as the division sign when typed. I.e 12/4 = 3

If you are using Word. Use insert/symbol and you will get a grid of special characters you can select from.

One way is to find it on a webpage, highlight the individual character you want and then copy-paste it into your document e.g. you could use the ÷ that squarebear has included in his posting here.
