also any ideas for 20 somethings to do there apart from drinking and theme park, my friend wants to go for her birthday...

I feel such a strong urge to ask whether you want bigoted propriators or not - but that's a done-to-death thread, so i won't!
take two shovels and a pick with you and start to dig the cross-Irish Sea tunnel starting with the mud that purports to be sand. You may need some Liverpudlian pit props to hold up the tunnel.

The Trentwood , my sister stayed for 2 nights and she said it was lovely , tripadvisor give good reviews

thanks for all the advice people, i'll look up the Trentwood. Would honestly much prefer to go to Brighton but it's my friends bday so she's made the choice :-S
