I have just found out that the Census is being run by Lockheed Martin not only is this an American arms company, all of our data could be taken and used by the US government, under the US Patriot act???

So is there anyway you can legally avoid filling out the Census?

If you're not at home and traveling I don't think you need declare anything.

I also read recently that the Government,( i.e. those who are meant to be running things on our behalf!!!!) has given assurances that this will not happen.Which like so much of what our "leaders" spout on about is probably not worth the ink and paper it was written on.

Yes just like they "looked after" all those social security details on the lost lap top or the reselling of personal details to insurance companies.

I know its not THIS government but its the infrastructure.

Capita will run the census then it is sent to Lockheed Martin in America

If you do not fill the cenus in Capital will send a Non-Compliance Officer to any address that has not returned a completed form during 26th April - 12th August this year.

One thing to note if the Non-Compliance Officer threatens you with legal action do not let him take your statement. You do not have to make a statement without legal representation and even with legal help you do not have to say anything and make a statement.
